Holt Harrison is a brother and sister duo comprising of Garry Holt and Liddie Holt Harrison and their gallery is located in the prestigious St Catherine’s Quarter, Frome, Somerset. It hosts domestic artists with growing reputations who offer an alternative to the mass market products available on the high street. All who visit the gallery love the distinctive collections – they are unique, stylish, functional and utterly approachable - however what I love most about Holt Harrison is the fact that Liddie and Gary are totally inspired by nature itself.

The beautiful new cushions in linen and silk are screen printed with expressive, hand drawn patterns based on a bug & butterfly theme. There are several designs in this range, a selection of which can be viewed in the Floración Collection portfolio or even better, by visiting Holt Harrison in person!

Last month I successfully completed a Masters in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art. My final collection included a folding screen, panel blinds and an exterior wall piece, which was installed onto a Grade II listed building at Chelsea College of Art.

The collection was greatly inspired by nature; particularly its ability to capture and beautify architecture. Comprising of two layers and at nearly eight metres long, the screen printed wallscape is designed to reflect the ability of climbing plants to conceal, without harming the fabric of the building onto which it is installed. The piece’s copper layer is designed to patinate over time so that it develops a history and gradually enhances its printed pattern.

Contrasting in scale, the interior range consists of a folding screen and panel blinds, which can double up as room dividers. This collection incorporates several materials, including post-production linen waste. Patterns for the entire range are hand-drawn and screen printed therefore each piece is completely unique.

I would be delighted to discuss any special requirements for printed interior accessories or installations in both public and private contexts.
